Connecticut Behavioral Consultants, LLC.
Jenna Waz founded CBC in September, 2016. The company is devoted to helping individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness and socially inappropriate behaviors learn how to best live an independent life. The company is staffed by hand-selected, Board-Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians.
We begin a case with assessments and observation, determine an appropriate behavior plan to implement and hours for treatment, followed by in-home sessions that include teaching daily living skills, problem behavior reduction, social skills, parent training and community integration. CBC employees will go wherever they are needed. Are doctor’s appointments difficult? We will go with you and determine ways to make them easier. Are regular outings to the grocery store, the mall, etc. a problem? We will go with you and help solve the problems.
Our job is to make sure that families are equipped to handle the difficult situations without us being present and we will work with you for as long as it takes for all of the goals to be met. Only once everyone is in agreement will a case reach closure. In the end, our job is to eliminate the need for our presence and help families reduce the daily struggles of life with an individual with special needs.
